A SPECO tem o prazer de anunciar que fará parte do consórcio do SER2027, juntamente com a Universidade de Lisboa, a Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, o CE3C, o FCiências.ID, o CHANGE, e a SER e o seu Europe Chapter.

A SPECO tem o prazer de anunciar que a cidade de Lisboa será o palco da 12ª World Conference on Ecological Restoration (SER2027) graças à candidatura desenvolvida por Alice Nunes, membro da Direcção da SPECO e da Rede Portuguesa de Restauro Ecológico (ResECO). Junte-se a nós para mostrar o verdadeiro potencial do restauro ecológico!

"Lisbon is an ancient city, carved by time and shaped by the ceaseless conversation between land, culture, and people – a dialogue that echoes through its hills and river, continually inspiring new visions of what’s yet to come. That’s why, in 2027, we’re inviting the world here – to gather the global ecological restoration community in a city and region that embodies both beauty and urgency.

Restoration is no longer optional. Climate change, biodiversity loss, land degradation — these are crises we all face. But they’re also calls to action. And the good news is: restoration works. It’s happening right now, in real places, with real people, restoring real ecosystems. That’s what this conference will highlight.

At SER2027, we’ll bring together researchers, land stewards, companies, NGOs, policy-makers, among the wide range of stakeholders that we seek to bring together and catalyse action. Restoration is transdisciplinary and its firmly rooted in science, but it grows through collaboration, creativity, and care. As we move through a decisive decade for ecological restoration we must turn goals into grounded action and bridge scientific knowledge with the realities of people and places.
